Marca Corona

Marca Corona has been producing top quality ceramic flooring and wall tiles since 1741. They combine extraordinary technical performances with the typical style and elegance of the best “Made in Italy” products. Marca Corona was founded in 1741. It is Sassuolo’s oldest ceramic factory and it quickly became the most important company of the Este Duchy.

In the mid-nineteenth century it began exporting its products and in 1889 it launched the production of dry pressed tiles. In 1982 it joined the Concorde Group, positioning itself in the highest market level with mosaics, wall and floor tiles which are currently distributed world-wide. For over a century, the history of Marca Corona has followed the development of the ceramic industry, using increasingly advanced techniques and aesthetic inspirations, with the aim of launching new trends in ceramic design.

Each Marca Corona collection is the result of the perfect combination between the most advanced production techniques and the careful, constant research for the latest fashion and design trends.

The production process of Marca Corona is UNI EN ISO certified, a standard which guarantees high levels of quality throughout the production cycle, from the raw materials to the finished product.

Many of the Marca Corona collections bear the ECOLABEL certification, which was introduced by the European Community to mark those products which have a low environmental impact. The decision of Marca Corona to comply with Ecolabel was made deliberately in order to guarantee its customers the certainty of products which are manufactured with full respect for the environment.
