Fila have been leading innovation for 65 years. In 1943, brothers Guido and Pietro Pettenon founded the Fabbrica Italiana Lucidi ed Affini, producers of shoe polish, waxes and household detergents.

In the sixties, Adriana and Beniamino Pettenon, the latter still today at the head of the company, chose to specialise in professional products for the protection and maintenance of floors.

This decisive intuition led to us becoming one of the most important companies in the world for surface treatment.

Today we combine the tradition of a family-run company with modern organisation and management based on innovation and research.

Ours is the only company in the sector that has offices and retail outlets all over the world. It is also the only brand recommended by 120 of the most important international floor manufacturers.
